Stockport Foodbank Vouchers and Information

May 05, 2022

Dear Parents and Carers,

Spring Bank Holiday is almost upon us.

At Stockport Foodbank we are most conscious that the holiday periods are one of the most difficult for families to cope with.  Not only is this the case for those who receive free school meals for their children during term time, but increasingly so for a large number of parents and carers who do not receive this support but have to cope with the increasing costs of food (and entertainment!!) during the holidays.

In previous holidays we have been able to offer support to families who need help with their food supply, and this Spring Bank holiday is no different – we are here to help.

If you need any Foodbank vouchers, please go to St. Thomas’ Junior school office and the school staff will be able to issue them to you.  These vouchers are only exchangeable at Stockport Foodbank centres and our centre map is attached below for your help and can be viewed online here.

As of the beginning of next month we will be able to support Foodbank clients at all our centres with advice from our resident Citizens Advice staff and we hope that this will point folk to new areas of support and finance.

If you need any further help, advice or vouchers, please do get in touch with your School or with us.

With best wishes,

Nigel Tedford
General Manager – Stockport Foodbank.
